What a wild night. Sezer is gone and I'm guessing Sheila is gone next. If the vote if close, I'll vote out Amanda, but I don't think that it's going to even be close. So where does this all leave me, other than I am in the Top 9.
It's interesting.... I think tonight locked me in with Jennie a lot more. And probably Amanda and Glyn a little bit, since Sezer and Sheila going out means that they have fewer options other than sticking with me. But it also gives me fewer options as well. Sezer was probably the one person who I could most trust in the end. Sheila and I had a "good" conversation today and I helped her get out Richard. But, I don't think she completely trusted me. She was oddly defensive for no reason about guessing my number in the challenge. (I'm probably too defensive with Glyn a lot of the time, something I need to keep in mind.) Let's shake it up how I do this and instead do a rating of how much of a threat to win I think people are 1-9, 1 is highest.
Trust/Threat - Name
1 - Spiral: Spiral seems to be literally working with everyone and even saved Glyn. Very good at comps. Although I doubt he wins an HOH any time soon, he's likely to stay the veto king. Made the Parker Bros alliance with him which could bear fruit but likely not. He didn't consult with me on who to play the veto on. At least the parker bros alliance shows Jennie I am with her above others. But going back to Spiral, the question is, do Adam, Glyn or Amanda decide to take him out before me. And when they make that move how do they do it? I think what Glyn has to know is that in order to take out Spiral, he can't wait too long. It's much easier to do with me and Adam still in the game to give him votes. If he waits until I'm gone it could be too late and B has the power. Not sure how I convince Amanda and Glyn of that. Adam probably would be more receptive honestly. He said he was trying to get Spiral as a backdoor. But the point is, if he makes final 3 he probably beats everyone, especially if the jury is majority B.
2 - Glyn: Glyn has taken a hit. He actually has a lot less power in the game now than Adam or Spiral. BUT, he's the strongest player in terms of social/strategic skills and he's actually gotten lucky with people like Sezer and Rich going out that he doesn't have to burn people he's been close to as much as I thought he would to get to the end. Before I thought he was going to have to choose me or Sezer or amanda or jennie or rich or adam. But that's starting to sort itself out for him.
3 - Amanda: Amanda is very good socially as Susie said. BUT she blows up a little too much where she doesn't seem as in control as someone like Glyn or Spiral. Her HOH backdoor plan ended up falling flat so she doesn't have a signature move. that being said, she has managed to be good with most everyone, especially Glynn, Jennie, Adam, and Spiral who are the key power players. Guessing she could also be the next Spy . She seems a rootable underdog coming off the block.
4 - Susie: She's actually made big moves, but manages to keep a low profile. If she doesn't go right away the next time Glyn or Amanda win (like if they put up me with her and I go instead), Susie could glide for a while and make it to the end with reasonable arguments. Not as high as those above her due to worse social skills.
5 - Adam: Adam is actually playing the hardest of everyone at this point. And has impressed me a lot with putting together different alliances. I'm hoping he's a little exposed and that Glyn and Amanda don't buy that he wasn't at least somewhat behind their nomination. He's relatively protected on all sides, but at least Jennie is not buying him. Regardless, I just think he becomes too big of a jury threat around final 5 and gets cut in most potential playouts of this game.
6 - Jennie: I know she is also tight with Amanda, Glyn, and Spiral (and maybe Aisleyene), but I'm hoping I am marginally closer to her than the others. Sezer was my number one in terms of trust, but with Jennie I at least feel like she is keeping the majority of my information private, especially suspicions about Glyn, Adam, etc. I think our interests are mostly aligned at this point. I think she has a very good chance at making the end but a low chance of winning if she gets there.
7 - Aisleyne: Aisleyne is a big threat to me. But is she a threat to win? Idk, she hasn't been HOH yet or been nominated so she's relatively under the radar. Sort of the Group B version of Jennie. Likely to make the end if things break her way, but unlikely to win, unless she ends up with a heavy group B jury (against two group As)
8 - Jen: I don't know if I trust Jen at all. Maybe she's really the secret mastermind...and she at least has been making moves by creating alliances, but if everyone thinks you're a bit cuckoo at this point it's probably too late to change people's perceptions.
9 - Sheila: Likely going home. Just wasn't present enough it seems.
The question is, where do I fit? Right now probably around Jennie/Aisleyne? Not super high. I have made one big move but a lot of people probably think it was dumb and nobody seems to trust me fully now that Sezer is gone, other than maybe Jennie, but even if she trusts me, I might not be her top priority. In most of my alliances right now I'm kind of playing the dumb second in command role. To Adam, to Amanda, to Spiral. I'm doing things like sharing old information to seem behind and not in control and dependent on them. But I can't stick with that forever, because then we get to the end and everyone thinks I was clueless about the "real game." I think I need to make big moves (cutting one of glyn, spiral or adam at least), to really rocket up the rankings. Then my pitch at the end could be I made the big moves to take out threats in a reason where most of the evictions were quits and threats didn't otherwise go home. I also helped secure the Shahbaz vote, although IDK if anyone will care at that point.
