Hey Houseguests! I hope you’re settling in nicely. Big Brother isn’t messing around, huh? :mindblown: Not just the largest cast Isolated has seen yet, but also a few different twists to kick off the season! So, let’s probe your brain some. I’ve got some questions.

1. First of all – Espionage! The theme of the season! One where our avid viewers will be influencing the game more than any before. What are your thoughts on the season’s main twist? As a refresher, our viewers will be selecting one house guest each round to be our spy! The spy gets a secret mission…but there’s always a risk involved. Worth it? Or nah?

2-Tell us about the housemates in your group! Who do you love? Who do you hate? Who are you indifferent about?

3-The first HOH competition asked you to choose which players in your group you did not want to have power. Walk us through your thought process! Were you working towards a specific goal? Did you make any deals? And are you happy with the outcome?

Ho boy.... This moved a lot faster than I had anticipated. So lets start off with your questions and then I'll get into the more juicy stuff...haha.

1) I'm really excited and nervous about this twist. I think the twist is going to potentially be able to help or hinder depending on the persons social game. Which makes me a little worried... but we'll see how it plays out. I definitely think this could be worth it, even if I don't get picked to be the spy, because maybe it'll help me stay off the block.

2) The group seems really awesome. I haven't spoken to a lot of people in depth. But I have spoken a good amount to Shahbaz, Chelsia, Susie and a little bit with some others. I was messing around with the chat room function and made a "boys club" just to play around, not realizing it would be publicly seen... lol (what did I think was going to happen). A few people brought it up and I immediately owned up saying I created it cause I was messing around, I think it worked because it was early enough in the game and no one really knew what's going on.

But I invited all the guys, Shaz, Parker, Spiral, etc. We were going to try and make a guys alliance when all of a sudden Shaz started calling Susie fake and wanting to get her evicted. All before HoH!

So right now Shaz is on my warning list because we barely know each other and he's already calling someone fake and trying to get them out? That's a bit much. Everyone else we'll have to feel out during the HoH.

3) I really didn't want the HoH, yet I did. I only wanted it so I could stay safe, other than that... I don't want power quite yet. My plan was to have the guys keep throwing it to the girls because, since Jen never logged in, we outnumbered them. It worked surprisingly well until Natalie's name got called.

Natalie was the only one I hadn't really spoken to, so it wasn't a surprise that she said my name. But had she not said my name, I'm pretty sure I would have wound up as HoH. So while Shaz had blown up at Susie, I used that opportunity to reach out to Susie and see what's up with her and get to know her a bit. I liked her vibe and told her I think we should try to work together. Well, Chels pipes up and tells me that Shaz told her, I was his number 1... not a good look for someone who just popped off. So I had to finagle my way out of this.

I had already started talking to Susie, and doubled down on that. I also told Chels that Shaz was a bit delusional.

Then Natalie calls my name. Susie tells me to get Shaz out, Chels tells me to get Shaz out, and Shaz is silent to me. I know I said we should throw it to the girls, but no one really agreed and Shaz just popped off. So I says to Chels, why don't I say her name, she says Shaz, and Susie wins, we can start and alliance. Chels isn't really keen to that, so I say the reverse to Susie, who's ok with it... but time's down.

So I say Shaz because he popped off. Shaz then surprises everyone by saying Chels instead of Susie to everyone's surprise. I immediately jumped on that and told Susie that I helped her stay safe there.

I'm happy with the outcome... for now.

After the HoH, I talked to Shaz a bit more to talk him back and tell him that I was talking to Chels and she was on "our side" but was going to be our "spy" and be buddy buddy with Susie and the other side (who's on the other side you may ask... I don't know, but there has to be someone we're working against, right?) to help us get info.

I turn to Chels tell her that I want to form an alliance with her and Susie. Inform her that in order to keep her under Shaz's radar, I'm putting her as a "spy". This literally will mean nothing other than keep Shaz thinking that Chels is on his side, and I'm still his Number 1.

To be honest, I didn't expect to play so hard right off the bat, or what to expect.... But I'm really enjoying this and I think if I play this right, I can help Susie get Shaz out and have no one the wiser. I don't want to say I'm trying to be a mastermind, but I'm hoping that I can possibly stay ahead of things for the time being.

Holy Cow... things have blown up again, and this time I actually missed the start of things and it took me hours to piece meal everything together.

So apparently Susie has decided to nominate Shaz and Grace. At least that's the rumor going around at the moment... Apparently Susie told Grace she wouldn't nominate her, but since she's doing this Grace called her a liar. Shaz jumped on this as well since he already had beef with Susie and they got into a screaming match in group chat. So much so that those of us who were doing other things, can't scroll up to see what happened.

I digress. So I haven't had a chance to talk to Susie since the night of HoH (not sure if we're missing each other or what), but I'm still feeling safe.

I think the plan I'm going with right now is to get Shaz out. I'm not sure if I said this in the last diary session, but Shaz apparently went around to people and told them I'm his number 1. Which is a major red flag for me. I'm not trying to make an obvious duo right off the bat. I also feel like he's a bit of a ticking time bomb and I'm not sure I want to keep that around.

I've also had a few epiphanies about this game and I think my game plan might need to be switched up. Not a lot, but a few tweaks so that somewhere down the road, things might go right, instead of left. We'll see... I'm not a very good chess player because I can't think to to to far in advance, but maybe short cons are the way to go

Pete! You tease us. What kind of tweaks are you talking about it? Please let the viewers know what you're thinking!!!

Well, my first thought is that I can't have a ticking timebomb anywhere near me for fear of getting caught in the blast. Shaz has already told people that I'm his number 1, then told them that I'm disloyal, etc.... So, unfortunately, he's got to go.

Second was that my alliance is going to need a few more people, other than just Susie and Chels. So Susie and I started talking to Jen when she came online. We both really like her and are hoping to get Chels to talk to her and see if we can bring her in.

After last night's nomination ceremony, it's clear that there's already a lot of hostility on both sides (group A and B). Once we remove Shaz, that should allow group B to hopefully form a little bit of a tighter bond, which when the merge happens, might help keep us safe. Group A's nomination seem to hint at some animosity towards Adam, but they also nominated people who couldn't figure out how to talk to the other members of the group. To me, this shows that they haven't bonded and instead might be more volatile.

So "steps" that I'm looking at right now. 1) I'm really hoping that once the merge happens, I can start talking to some A groupies, and form a connection there. This will hopefully keep me safe as I bond with more and more people. Second is to form a few alliniances. Instead of one main allinace, I'm thinking I keep my core three (myself, Susie, and Chels), a hopeful Group B alliance, and then a few bonds with some key group A people... should help me to go far.

2) I don't think it's working to anyone's favor to play this game super hard by calling people out and making enemies. This seems to very much be a honey vs vinegar situation. As long as I can stay some what towards the front of the pack, while also not being in the number 1 seat... at least for another week or so, then I have a serious chance of making it far.

As long as I can channel my inner Dan Gheesling, I might be able to stay ahead and pivot when I start to see blocks.

Oh, and don't think I've forgotten about the engaged/married couple.... I have a bone to pick with them, I, myself, got engaged a few weeks ago.... and I can't tell anyone for fear of them thinking I'm part of that twist. So I take a previous statement back.... I'm targeting the married/engaged couple. They will be my focus.
