Ho boy.... This moved a lot faster than I had anticipated. So lets start off with your questions and then I'll get into the more juicy stuff...haha.
1) I'm really excited and nervous about this twist. I think the twist is going to potentially be able to help or hinder depending on the persons social game. Which makes me a little worried... but we'll see how it plays out. I definitely think this could be worth it, even if I don't get picked to be the spy, because maybe it'll help me stay off the block.
2) The group seems really awesome. I haven't spoken to a lot of people in depth. But I have spoken a good amount to Shahbaz, Chelsia, Susie and a little bit with some others. I was messing around with the chat room function and made a "boys club" just to play around, not realizing it would be publicly seen... lol (what did I think was going to happen). A few people brought it up and I immediately owned up saying I created it cause I was messing around, I think it worked because it was early enough in the game and no one really knew what's going on.
But I invited all the guys, Shaz, Parker, Spiral, etc. We were going to try and make a guys alliance when all of a sudden Shaz started calling Susie fake and wanting to get her evicted. All before HoH!
So right now Shaz is on my warning list because we barely know each other and he's already calling someone fake and trying to get them out? That's a bit much. Everyone else we'll have to feel out during the HoH.
3) I really didn't want the HoH, yet I did. I only wanted it so I could stay safe, other than that... I don't want power quite yet. My plan was to have the guys keep throwing it to the girls because, since Jen never logged in, we outnumbered them. It worked surprisingly well until Natalie's name got called.
Natalie was the only one I hadn't really spoken to, so it wasn't a surprise that she said my name. But had she not said my name, I'm pretty sure I would have wound up as HoH. So while Shaz had blown up at Susie, I used that opportunity to reach out to Susie and see what's up with her and get to know her a bit. I liked her vibe and told her I think we should try to work together. Well, Chels pipes up and tells me that Shaz told her, I was his number 1... not a good look for someone who just popped off. So I had to finagle my way out of this.
I had already started talking to Susie, and doubled down on that. I also told Chels that Shaz was a bit delusional.
Then Natalie calls my name. Susie tells me to get Shaz out, Chels tells me to get Shaz out, and Shaz is silent to me. I know I said we should throw it to the girls, but no one really agreed and Shaz just popped off. So I says to Chels, why don't I say her name, she says Shaz, and Susie wins, we can start and alliance. Chels isn't really keen to that, so I say the reverse to Susie, who's ok with it... but time's down.
So I say Shaz because he popped off. Shaz then surprises everyone by saying Chels instead of Susie to everyone's surprise. I immediately jumped on that and told Susie that I helped her stay safe there.
I'm happy with the outcome... for now.
After the HoH, I talked to Shaz a bit more to talk him back and tell him that I was talking to Chels and she was on "our side" but was going to be our "spy" and be buddy buddy with Susie and the other side (who's on the other side you may ask... I don't know, but there has to be someone we're working against, right?) to help us get info.
I turn to Chels tell her that I want to form an alliance with her and Susie. Inform her that in order to keep her under Shaz's radar, I'm putting her as a "spy". This literally will mean nothing other than keep Shaz thinking that Chels is on his side, and I'm still his Number 1.
To be honest, I didn't expect to play so hard right off the bat, or what to expect.... But I'm really enjoying this and I think if I play this right, I can help Susie get Shaz out and have no one the wiser. I don't want to say I'm trying to be a mastermind, but I'm hoping that I can possibly stay ahead of things for the time being.
