There appears to be some confusion on what is allowed as far as out of game contact. One of your fellow Houseguests, Amanda, gave her number to Richard as he left which is a clear violation of the rules. This appears to be a genuine misunderstanding of the rules and I am trusting Richard not to do anything with it. However, this does lead me to clarify some points about the rules.

When Pete left due to personal circumstances, the decision was made at his request to allow him contact with Jen. Big Brother oversaw this under the request that they not discuss the game and the understanding that Pete would not be allowed to view the season as Richard has. The circumstances there were different due to him withdrawing himself from the season.

I see now how that was problematic in establishing expectations going forward. So, I want to clarify the rules.

You are not allowed contact with anyone outside of the games except under specific circumstances SOLELY at my discretion as the host. You are not allowed to give your phone number, email address, social media profile to anyone as they or you leave the game. This is to protect the fairness of the game and any violation of those rules will be subject to immediate removal.

Due to the oversight with Pete and Jen, I will not be punishing Amanda but I find it only fair to be transparent with you about what has happened.

Thank you for posting this because I do want to be transparent . I only want to make genuine relationships with people outside of this game. I genuinely thought it was okay since he was evicted. & that’s what Pete/Jen did. Shortly after I sent it I was made aware it was against the rules by a separate houseguest. Richard never reached out to me at all, so I didn’t think much of it.

** But what I also failed to do was reach out to BB to let them know I unknowingly broke the rule as soon as I realized I did. **

Please learn from my mistakes guys. Thank you for being understanding BB I’ve loved being a part of this game and never meant ill intent.
