1. Chelsia and Shahbaz are evicted back to back with a Prisoner's Dilemma in the mix. Were you shocked by some players' answers in the Prisoner's Dilemma? What was your reaction to seeing two large targets in Shahbaz and Chelsia go in one night? Was this the ideal outcome for you?
No, I was not. I already talked about most of this in my last video DR, but I knew Chelsia and Adam were going up to the point where it was probably a mistake of me not to encourage ais to betray me. I would have been "safe" because chels would go and likely would not have been exposed as much. But at that point in the game I hadn't been exposed yet, so to me it made sense to try to build an ally in group B. Didn't work for a variety of reasons like ais thinking I want to kill her but we've discussed that.
2. Tonight was a full day of events with HoH through Eviction in one night. How do you feel about your HoH reign. Any regrets?
No major regrets. You all know that I've been fully skeptical of Glyn since day one. And I truly felt the path we were on would lead to either him winning or maybe Richard or Sheila sneaking in to win at the end. I just did not see Glyn as closer to me than Rich. And Glyn even admitted that to me after the eviction ceremony. The main regret I do have is not telling Jennie about it in advance although honestly I have felt she and Amanda had something going on with Rich for a while and why would I blow my cover that I was thinking of this move when it ONLY happens if I win HOH and someone takes Susie off the block. Same for glyn as a pawn, why would I tell him in advance if he's almost certainly not going up. I told him when the move was made and Adam took susie off. But yes I should have tried to find Jennie amidst the chaos to clue her in. I think she trusts me less now. Also think she's less able to lie about it. Amanda is better at making me think she still is with me. (AND BTW, if I was these people, I'd be THRILLED with this move. They're all so connected and now they get out Rich without getting any blood on their hands.)
The big questions are (a) why rich and not glyn, and (b) why glyn ad the renom. (B) I'll answer below cause it falls under #3. Bu why rich when Ais and others are also targetting me. Because if I took out one of group B, then the others are all clearly gunning for me. I had lost that battle when chelsia left. She was my person in group B, Glyn Rich and Jennie had seemingly locked up the support of group B over me. I needed to blow things up to really change how group B sees things. Also, Richard just never gave me any game info, he's right i withheld from him but he really withheld more. Our conversation about the shahbaz/sheila vote was really sketch and lined up with things sheila told me too. And chelsia kept telling me things richard said which either she was lying about or he was. And he's not in Mega7 so that keeps people like adam, sezer, sheila, and amanda happy (i was hoping jennie too but maybe not). And it gives me at least a CHANCE to work with group B people that, let's be real, I did not have before. Richard leaving hurts those alliances.
We also know Richard was Dean, was popular and could have been getting spy challenges, I have a gut sense he could have solved whatever that DR code thing was earlier this season, was good in comps, and was managing to stay under the radar. He was a massive threat. I did not want to waste my HOH. I wanted to make a big move that eliminated a real competitor, not Susie. Yes Susie would have gone if Rich won the veto or noms stayed the same. But that was not my number one goal. The fact that this "rocked the house" so much just shows that it was the right move because Rich was set up super well. Things can change in this house on a dime. If sheila or adam or sezer wins this round I'm safe. The others, we shall see.
It also hurts Glyn's position that is key. Glyn loses his most powerful ally. It does do Glyn a favor that he never has to choose between Mega7 and rich, but he still has plenty of other alliances to betray. Glyn says rich wanted to work with me, but either Glyn is lying or Rich was trying to keep Glyn happy. Rich had no thoughts of being with me in the endgame unless he felt I was a goat.
3. When Adam won Veto, what was your reaction to his decision to veto Susie, and what went into your decision to renom Glyn?
Adam and I discussed doing rich when I won HOH. He was super into it. #babywipes I was going to tell him to use the veto on susie after he won but he suggested it before I even could. Said it was to hide our relationship and play up the susie and him thing as a shield. I don't quite buy that. I think that he has something with Susie, since she's his top Group B ally. But here his interests and mine aligned completely. So I don't really care why he did it. Maybe it even can help me pull in Susie if we can say everyone even on Group B wanted you out over richard. idk, just a thought.
Glyn going up was 50% purely that he was the only person I was CERTAIN would stay over Rich. I felt like Glyn might understand that but he's clearly pissed -- or trying to act piss to make me feel guilty and other turn against me. At the end of the night he chilled out but I know he doesn't trust me fully or even halfly. Although he didn't even before this because of the Chelsia stuff anyway! He admitted that to me. So again, my position was not super yesterday. I posted in DR that I was a possible nom. I knew I could win that HOH so I gunned for it. Veto ended up being random anyway so happy I gunned for HOH.
The other 50% was to hurt Glyn's game. This exposes him. He stayed 10-0 over Rich. If that doesn't fucking wake people up that he's a massive threat IDK what will. Glyn will go around and say I'm all alone I have nobody else.....but they just kept you all over Rich 10-0 and acted like cutting rich was worse than death. If cutting Rich 10-0 is worth than death, what do people think cutting Glyn is to most of the house? Like self decapitating with a pencil or something idk. Like if everyone is that in love with someone, MAYBE HE ISN'T AS IN WITH YOU AS YOU THINK. So yeah I hope this exposes Glyn and made him squirm and do bolder, dumber, risker moves that blow his game up even more.
4. How do the past day's events change the game, and are you beginning to look at things beyond the surface level? As an individual game, are you playing the best to make the end and win, or are you playing to what the house wants?
I'm playing the game to win. Not to coast to the end, come up short, and give Amanda and Glyn and Richard the check for $100. If they outplay me then that's fine, but I'm treating this like a singualar opportunity to play this game that I will not waste. I am not playing what the house wants. Arguably I am playing for Mega7, but Glyn and Jennie seem to not care.
Do I think I will win? idk that depends on a lot. I could go next if Ais or spiral win hoh (or susie). I think final 3 hurts my chances because it's harder to bring a single goat and win, you need 2 goats if you're doing shady shit like me. Makes it easier for me to get to finale but harder to win. My speech at the end would be I made big moves and stuck to my core alliances. Did I lie to get that done, yes. did I put even my allies at risk above myself, yes. But this is a game all of calculated risks and the ones I made got me here with the people I wanted to be with here. something like that.
5. Finally, with the jury beginning, how can you set yourself apart from your competitors in order to win? The house is dramatically shrinking in size, there is no longer any place to hide. Who do you see as your biggest threats, and who is sneaking under the radar, potentially taking up space in the endgame?
I feel like I've covered most of this above. Just want to cover a few people points I didn't get to:
-Sheila: I think this helps me with Sheila. She probably would have been gone if a group B person won HOH. We discussed not trusting Rich and I took him out.
-Sezer: Surprisingly chill with this all. Also made some comments about Glyn that made me think maybe my whole "fear glyn"
stuff is sinking in with him. He seems to agree glyn was with richard more than us.
-Amanda: playing it better than glyn and jennie even if she's mad at me. Betrayed Spiral and blew up with chels and shahbaz but all seems to be ignored/forgotten by the house. I think she emerges as the top threat to win the game with Glyn cut down a bit by this week's events.
-Parker: clearly working with glyn, amanda, and jennie, but also giving me some info like saying the three of them are "glyn and co." I will wait to expose that depending on who wins HOH. He should really use this chance to take control of the game if he can. I would form an alliance with him sezer, and sheila/adam or something but it just seems like he would run to jennie and glyn and amanda idk. We will see what happens with HOH but he's clearly onto Glyn. Maybe if I can find a way that he doesn't fear Glyn I can pull him more to me.
-Ais and Jen: idk man, they are coming for me but also jen wants to work wtih me. I say let's do an alliance and give her some info but then she backs out. Also I feel like Jen and Pete were the couple based on all the info she had on his family situation, but maybe I'm wrong.
-Spiral could win HOH this round, he's good at comps. He probably shouldn't though. If he does I will try to convince him not to put up me. Will need to try to make a deal if I can. But this was the case regardless of what happened in my HOH.
